I bought and downloaded this software to try and recover some photos off of a damaged SD card. This software has a really poor method of activation and I never could get it to work. You receive a serial number for the software, but that doesn't activate the software - no, you have to click on a link from inside the program and go online to a website and get an "activation code" number. You plug THAT number into your software and if it matches the serial number they gave you, the software is supposed to be activated. That NEVER happened for me - I was stuck in Demo mode forever. They have NO contact phone number, so you are forced to use email which proved pointless. I was told to run the software as administrator - did that. To make sure I downloaded the correct version - but no information on where to FIND said correct version. Finally, over a week after purchasing the product, they sent me a link to download from. I uninstalled everything I had, downloaded from their link, installed the program (as Administrator), opened the program (as Administrator), entered the Activation code - and - still in Demo Mode. I've reached the point where I just want my money back, but they have quit responding to my emails now so I had to file a dispute with my bank. They have issued me a refund and are investigating the company to attempt to get a refund back from them. My advice is to avoid this company. |
