We had this installed in our gallery and liked how it worked. The motherboard in our computer failed, so I purchased a new one, and that is when the problems began. The only software that did not work with the changeout was POS Maid. It reverted back to demo mode and wanted us to pay another $59 for another license. It was then that I noticed that you have to pay for a customer service plan, even to just call with a question!. We finally found an email address, and the initially the person said they could not help us. Then we got another email the next day saying that he was "higher level" and said that the lower level csr didnt know what they were doing (I'm not an idiot- there was only 1 person and they were playing the old good CSR/Bad CSR routine). He attempted to bribe us into getting a free license by first posting a good review. I refused because that is completely backwards! I have since filed a complaint with the BBB and all he has done is harass me and act like a high school kid with his arrogant and ignorant emails. STAY AWAY FROM THIS SOFTWARE!!! IT IS TIED TO YOUR MAC ADDRESS ON YOUR COMPUTER SO IF YOU CHANGE OUT THE MOTHERBOARD, OR IF YOU AREN'T ALWAYS IN A FIXED LOCATION, OR EVEN IF YOU CHANGE ISPS IT WILL NOT WORK AND YOU WILL GET NOTHING BUT AN IDIOT THROWING A TANTRUM GIVING YOU CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

worst software company ever!!!!! terrible costumer service...actually i should print in here the email answer the sent me to answer my installation problems!! they don't even have an email server on their own., the replies i got came from gmails accounts and no representative write down their names. attaching software to mac addresses create huge problems!!!,, i got what i paid for,,,good software (i assume), cheap company , super hard installation, worst than terrible costumer service.

the worst was that i have never past the installation, never used it.

Viglen your are nuts! Do you have to pay Microsoft for new Windows every time you replace hardware? Tying code to Ethernet hardware is stupid and desperate. What you are doing is stealing money as long as the software is installed on one computer and does not function as paid.

Any user that has a laptop can test what Nathaniel wrote about and see the inherent flaw in this software. It is a mobile world and your so-called software protection is stuck in the last century. Shame on you. Obviously you did not return Nathaniel's money which is why you are chasing reviews. How much has the chase cost you, well in excess of $45.00 I can bet!

Bought this software through eBay. Software does not work. Gives me activate demo screen everytime I use it and the code is different every time. No help from Alexandria Software. In fact, never replied to my emails. But after reviewing online, I see they have time to chase down bad reviews rather than answer customer issue.

My issue must be the same as Nathaniel that the software does not work on mobile service. That is not in their description. In fact, on the web page they tell you it can be installed on a laptop.

Money-back guarantee that is a lie. I did not get anything back. They told me flat out no! Guess Alexandria Software really needed my $35.00 plus shipping.

Nataniel is simply a bitter customer writing out of spite, when they found out that they need to pay for each PC that they use the software on and that we as a software developer protect this software to the full extent by the aplicable copyright law. Not paying for each hardware configuration/PC constitutes software piracy.

Purchased this product for buy-and-go trade shows. Spent two days uploading inventory to my laptop from my home office. I went to the trade show, hooked up my internet phone, pulled up software for first order, it locked me out. Tracked down Filip Zerdevski through Google, when he picked up, denied it was his number and hung up abruptly, kept redialing went to voice mail saying 'If you need help with your POS Maid software, please email us. That was the first indication that something was off.

Emailed problem (with customers waiting - hoping for a quick, pain free result), turns out, the 'code' for POS Maid is tied to the MAC address of my Ethernet service so when I'm in my wireless word at trade shows (meaning new MAC address), the program is a useful as 1997 Bread.

I would not recommend this program to anyone. A more useful POS Software at a reasonable price is 4POS. Excellent customer service and program is made for a mobile world - in other words the 21st century.
