Preparing appeal documents is a complex and time consuming task. Our new imgAppeal Print (this application replaces our old AppealPrint-EZ) application had been designed to aid legal professionals in preparing Appendix/Record documents while reading to file the appeal. Our goal is to enable our clients to create electronically appeal filing documents without worrying about the complexities of the technology required for document preparation. imgAppeal Print allows for documents from various sources to be collected and organized into volumes for review before final copies are created. It also enables users to concentrate on the review process without much effort spent on collecting and organizing the content.

Image aquisition
imgAPPEAL PRINT supports two methods for image aquisition.

CSV Reference File Import.
Imports pages using a coma delimited reference file. Source image files have to be a single page TIFFs. The reference file should list image file locations and logical document boundries. Each reference line will be imported as a page record.
Image File Import.
Imports pages from image files located on accessible media (hard drives, CDs, flash drives). Supported file formats are TIFF (Single or Multi page), JPEG (.jpg, .jpeg), BITMAP (.bmp), PORTABLE NETWORK GRAPHICS (.png). Imported files can be merged into logical documents according to the file location, file names or user custom selection.

Context sensitive toolbars and menus
Most of the tasks on the main application screen are mapped to context sensitve toolbars and menus. This enable users to complete tasks with just a few mouse clicks.

Collation & Pagination
To help organize the page collection within each volume imgAPPEAL PRINT employs a variety of tools. Most of them are accesible from the context toolbars/menus with just one click.

Split Document Wizard
Enables users to divide documents into smaller logical units to improve the navigation and/or page heading assignment.
Merge Documents Wizard
Enables users to prepend or append a document with any other document within a volume. Also if a group of pages needs to be added between existing document pages they can be inserted by selecting the insert point from a drop-down list.
Move Document/Page
A single document/page can be moved one position up or down withing the voulme with a single click of a mouse button.
Renumbering Wizard
Provides an extensive renumbering capabilities. Users can renumber the entire volume as well as a selected page range. It allows to create a page number prefix, select a start number and optionaly preserve page number suffixes. It also features a variety of options to create page sufixes, both alphanumeric and numeric with a custom suffix separator (.aab, .002 or _AAB, _002 etc).
