KaVoom! is the KVM solution. It lets you operate all your computers from a single keyboard, monitor, and mouse. Kavoom! KVM is like a hardware KVM switch except that the "switch" appears on your monitor, and you use the mouse to select which computer to operate.For computers without their own monitors, located in different rooms, or shared with other people

No hardware is needed so there are no power cords or cables to connect. All that's needed is your existing network connection between the computers.

KaVoom! KVM supports dual and multi-monitor displays on both primary and secondary computers. On a multi-monitor primary computer, you get a Switch window on each monitor allowing you to switch each monitor independently.

It is common to operate single-monitor secondary computers from a multi-monitor primary, in which case you have flexibility about which monitor is used to display the secondary.

If your monitor sizes don't exactly match each other, KaVoom! KVM has various solutions, such as temporarily changing the video mode of the secondary computer or displaying a smaler image centered on the screen. KaVoom! never stretches or compresses the image, to ensure that you see exactly what's on the screen.

As with hardware KVM switches, support for multi-monitor displays is available for an additional charge.
KaVoom! KVM gives you an effective way to share computers among a group of people. This is very useful feature for server administrators who share responsibility over a group of servers, or for any other computer professional who shares access to special software or hardware located on a particular computer.

To setup KaVoom! KVM for computer sharing, you configure multiple primary computers, one for each person who wants to have access to the shared secondary computers. When you connect to a secondary, KaVoom! notifies you immediately if someone else is using the computer with a message such as:

The computer is currently being used by John on "Austin." Last activity was 4 minutes ago.

You can then decide whether or not to take control of the computer yourself. If you take control, the next time John tries to regain control of the computer, he will be notified that you are now using it.
KaVoom! KVM does not lose its connection when you log out. You can log out and log back on using a different user name seamlessly from the primary computer.

Remote Desktop is designed such that when you log out, your remote session ends. You must create a new connection to log back on.
