Security Task Manager is designed to provide a more comprehensive, security-focused look at currently active tasks on your Windows PC than Windows Task Manager can. It analyzes all current tasks being run on your system and organizes them by potential security risk so you can see which processes are of the greatest concern. In seconds, the user is able to see each process, remove potential spyware and keyloggers and respond to malware with a quarantine action. Security Task Manager is flexible, capable of detecting and displaying even heavily stealthed processes, and after detecting each process, displaying a potential security risk rating for that process. It does this by analyzing hidden attributes and properties in each process to determine if it is keylogging, accessing private data or recording anything in your browser. Additional information such as CPU usage, file descriptions, process type, location and file path for each process, and more are also provided. When the process is identified as a potential security threat, the user can choose to quarantine the process and delete any Registry entries related to that process. If, at any time, Autostart keys in the Registry are edited or modified, the software will notify the user to take action. Additional Protection features will also block tracking of keyboard and mouse activity on your computer. As a security tool, Security Task Manager provides numerous tools including: displaying currently active tasks with file paths and security risk ratings, CPU usage monitoring, quarantine of potentially dangerous malware, spyware, keylogger software or Trojan viruses, and inclusion of a Protector tool to erase recent computer activity. Security Task Manager is designed to be used in a single interface and is accessible for intermediate and beginner users as well as advanced Windows users.
