TURBO toggle is an Autocad plugin designed to switch AutoCAD to a faster mode by customizing all the relevant variables.
The TURBO toggle switches AutoCAD 2012, 2011, 2010, 2009, 2008 or 2007 to a faster mode by presetting a couple of relevant system variables. The next TURBO command switches AutoCAD back to its original status (settings).
The active "Turbo" mode is indicated by red commandline text. Return back to "normal" mode in the same session to restore the original settings. If you exit AutoCAD or your DWG drawing in the Turbo mode, some of your original system variable settings may be lost.
The performance differences depend on your current settings, on the complexity of your drawing and on the PC configuration. You can expect maximum "Turbo" effects on slow PCs with poor existing settings and in emulated/virtualized environments.
